GEN Australia is registered as an incorporated association in NSW, Australia. In 2020 GEN Australia created and implemented a sociocratic inspired organisational structure and use sociocracy for decision making and governance.
The circles within the organisation structure allow it to expand and evolve to meet the growing needs of the network. The active circles are management, communications & IT, education and projects. Some team members work across multiple circles and they all come together as part of the coordination circle.
The critical functions to ensure GEN Australia operates efficiently and effectively, are coordinated by the management team, who carry out communications, administrative, legal and financial activities for the organisation.
